Whether it’s a quick hop across town, a train journey, an e-bike rental, or even a boat ride, your journeys booked with the Uber app could be helping you fly further – literally.

Now there’s more. Until 14 October 2025, every eligible Uber trip in the UK gives you a chance to win 100,000 Avios, enough for a serious head start on your next holiday. 30 prizes of 100,000 Avios will be given out, one for each day this promotion is running.

How to Collect Avios Through Uber

The process couldn’t be simpler. Link your British Airways Club account to your Uber account, and you’ll automatically start collecting Avios on your journeys:

• 1 Avios for every £1 spent in the UK

• 1 Avios for every €1 spent in the Republic of Ireland

The Avios you earn will appear in your BAC account within 24 hours of completing your trip. This means your weekday commute, weekend outings, or that dash to the station when its raining can all help you build up your balance. Even better, this you can collect Avios on all travel booked through the Uber app.

How to Link Your Uber and British Airways Club Accounts

If you haven’t linked your accounts yet, now’s the time:

1. Download the Uber app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Sign in, and go to your account which you'll find at the bottom of the screen

3. Find settings, and at the bottom you will find the option to link to your British Airways Club Account

From that point on, your trips will automatically earn Avios – no extra effort required.

How to Win 100,000 Avios

Between 15 September and 14 October 2025, every completed Uber trip that meets the eligibility criteria becomes an entry into the prize draw. The offer covers a wide range of Uber options: UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec, Uber Green, Uber Boat, Lime e-bikes and scooters, Black Cab, Coach, Rail and Eurostar trips with a UK departure or arrival. What this means is, the more you travel, the more entries you’ll receive!

At the end of the promotional period, 30 lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive 100,000 Avios each. Winners will be contacted by email, and the prize will be credited to their linked British Airways Club account within 30 days.

There are a few conditions to keep in mind:

• You must be 18 or over and a UK resident.

• Your Uber and British Airways Club accounts must be held in the same name.

• Only one Uber account can be linked to one BAC account.

• Avios are awarded on the upfront price of your trip (excluding tips or certain fees).

• If a multi-trip booking is cancelled, you won’t earn Avios on any part of that booking.
