Knowing how to use your points is half the battle. But by knowing how, you potentially give yourself the advantage when it comes to getting the flight you want.
For example, did you know that you can use Virgin Points to book the Japanese airline ANA?
No? Well we've compiled the full list for you for which airlines can you book with Virgin Points. From Skyteam to partner airlines, even if you think you know the whole list there might be one or two that catch your eye.

Wait, What Is SkyTeam?
Founded in 2000 by Delta, Air France, Korean Air, and Aeromexico, SkyTeam is a global airline alliance that brings together a network of major international carriers to offer seamless travel experiences across the world. With member airlines spanning six continents, SkyTeam provides coordinated schedules, shared airport lounge access, and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits, making it easier for passengers to connect between flights and earn rewards. SkyTeam has now grown to 18 member airlines, giving passengers a wealth of choice to criss-cross the globe.

So, Which Airlines Can You Book With Virgin Points?
Flying Club redemptions cover two buckets of airlines: SkyTeam members and a few non-SkyTeam partners.

Delta Air Lines
Aeroméxico
Aerolíneas Argentinas
Air Europa
China Airlines
China Eastern

Non-SkyTeam partners

Air New Zealand
EL AL
ITA
LATAM
South African Airways
Virgin Australia
Note: Singapore Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines partnerships both ended in 2025, but if you booked a ticket with Virgin Points before the end date of the partnerships, you will still be able to fly.
For airlines in italics, you have to speak with Virgin Atlantic over the phone to book with Virgin Points. For all the others, you can book online via the Virgin Atlantic website.

Tips to Stretch Your Virgin Points
Hunt off-peak dates to save yourself thousands of points. In the UK, airlines conventionally follow school holidays, but this is not the case for airlines elsewhere.
Search Virgin Atlantic’s site first – it now displays most SkyTeam partners.
Mix carriers: sometimes a one-way on Virgin Atlantic and then a return on for example Air France, helps balance out the cash and points needed.
Don’t forget non-SkyTeam partners – ANA or Air New Zealand redemptions are excellent if you’re heading further afield.
Always compare cash fares – in some cases, Virgin’s surcharges are so high that a paid ticket in a sale may be cheaper than an award ticket.
Final word
Despite being called "Virgin" points, you are not limited solely to the Virgin group. Sam has flown Air France using Virgin Points to demonstrate the flexibility in Virgin Points, and knowing how to best use them will open up a world of options.
We'll cover in the future some of the costs for using your Virgin Points on partner airlines, so make sure you subscribe to our posts so you don't miss that one!
P.S. there are some absolute steals to be had.
