We told you they were coming back. British Airways has now confirmed the full details of this year's tier point earning offer for Premium Plus cardholders, and the good news is that the structure is identical to last year.

Enrol by 25 January 2027 and spend by 1 February 2027 to earn up to 2,500 British Airways Club tier points on card spend. Here's the breakdown:
750 tier points when you spend £15,000
750 more tier points when you spend a further £5,000 (£20,000 total)
1,000 more tier points when you spend a further £5,000 (£25,000 total)
That's 2,500 tier points in total for £25,000 of spend, exactly the same as the offer that ran from June 2025 through to February 2026.
To put that in context: Bronze requires 3,500 tier points, Silver requires 7,500, and Gold is 20,000. Card spend alone won't get you there, but 2,500 tier points is a useful top-up if you're within reach of a tier.
A few things worth knowing before you enrol
Spend on supplementary cards linked to your account counts towards the thresholds, so if your partner is on the account, their spending contributes too.
Only spend in GBP qualifies. Foreign currency transactions don't count, so if you're a heavy overseas spender, bear that in mind (this card incurs a 2.99% fee abroad, so I generally wouldn't recommend spending too much on it abroad anyway).
Tier points are transferred to your British Airways Club account within eight weeks of hitting each threshold, not immediately. They'll show on your billing statement first, so don't panic if they don't land in your Club account straight away.
And just like with collecting Avios, cancelled or refunded transactions don't count towards your spend.
As with last year, you'll need to actively enrol to take part. It isn't applied automatically. Do that via the Amex app or website as soon as possible, as only spend made after enrolment counts.
If you're a higher spender who'd be putting £15,000 to £25,000 through the card over the year anyway, this is free tier points on spending you'd make regardless.
We'll update this piece if anything changes, but for now: enrol, spend as you normally would, and let the tier points land in your account.
