Two new Amex offers: Virgin Atlantic, and Virgin Atlantic Holidays

You may have already noticed two new offers appear in your American Express app.

(If you don't already, do keep an eye on this section as you never know when you may be able to save some money on something you were going to buy anyway!)

For any offer, make sure to save the offer to your card first, or else the offer will not track when you make your purchase.

The first is from Virgin Atlantic for spend £2,000, get £200 back. This offer will work if you are buying reward flights, but it will not work if you are buying points to top your balance up. This offer is limited to the first 70,000 cardmembers to save this to their card.

The second is from Virgin Atlantic Holidays for spend £6,000, get £350 back. This offer is limited to the first 30,000 cardmembers to save this to their card.

A few things:

Both of these are online only offers, so please don't go into the Virgin Atlantic Holidays store in your local shopping centre and expect this to work.
Both of these offers come back to you as statement credit on your balance, and not a discount.
You can stack these Amex offers with other Virgin Atlantic offers.
For reasons that should be apparent, you're not going to be seeing these offers appear on your British Airways Amex.

Neither of these amounts are life changing, but if you were already going to be buying flights for your family, or a special holiday for the two of you, then you'd literally be leaving free money on the table.
