Black Friday is known for fast deals and fast decisions, but Virgin Red are spreading the love across the month of November rather than concentrating everything into a single day.
The idea is to give members more time to browse and earn Virgin Points from everyday retailers, travel bookings and selected product offers.
But is it worth your time? Or is this just another Black Friday disappointment?

How to Utilise Black Friday to Earn Virgin Red Points
If you shop via the Virgin Red app or website, you can earn Virgin Points with a range of partner retailers. The points you earn can later be redeemed on flights, experiences, rewards or donations.

Wine Offer: What You Get and What to Know

Travel: Triple Points and Hotel Stays
As already mentioned last week earn triple points on all of your train journeys when booking via the Virgin Trains Ticketing App for the whole November.
Also on this list of offers is a great one with Booking.com stays in the UK or Europe earn up to 10 points per £1 when booked through Virgin Red. Travel dates vary, so checking the small print is recommended if flexibility is important.
These offers are more useful for people who already have planned travel, rather than those booking purely to earn points. But we won't judge you if you decide to book something on the fly. Live in the moment!

Looking to spend your points?
Got a haul of points and not sure what to do with them? If bargain Virgin Atlantic points fares don't take your fancy, then Virgin has some entertainment for you, with their Virgin Red Room experiences at The O2 leading the charge. JLS (28 Nov 2025) or Strictly Come Dancing Live (14 Feb 2026) tickets for two clock in at just 35,000 points. Disney on Ice gets multiple dates starting from 20,000 points for two tickets, Wolf Alice fans can catch their 2nd December show for 30,000 points, and if that's too civilised for you then Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live (11 Jan 2025) comes in at 20,000 points for two.
If you didn't know about the Virgin Red Room, then I'll just let Virgin do the talking...
The space includes high-level banquette seating, offering views of the surrounding area or a cozy spot to enjoy a drink from the bar. The tables, crafted from recycled CDs and records, pay homage to Virgin’s rich heritage in music.
Members will enjoy exclusive VIP entry lanes, two complimentary drinks per person and a dedicated bar attendant. Food and drinks are available to purchase, with the menu including a range of delicious bites, from souvlaki to loaded fries.

Want something less noisy? The Battersea Power Station lift experience with a meal including prosecco at Cinnamon Kitchen for Two rounds things out at 14,000 points, which normally costs significantly more when booked direct.
Beyond events, the wine crowd can snag 12-bottle cases for 15,000 points, whether its a mixed, white, or case of red you're after.
Worth It?
Virgin Red’s Black Friday approach spreads deals over a longer period and focuses on earning points rather than encouraging single-day impulse spending, so we're fans of that.
But if I'm being totally honest, I think the shopping points bonuses are a little bit underwhelming, like most Black Friday deals you'll be able to find these at other points in the year. The triple points on all train travel is more enticing, with offers usually only as high as double points the rest of the year.
If you're already part of the Virgin Points ecosystem or saving toward a specific reward, this could be a useful way to increase your points balance. If not, it's worth comparing the earning rates with cashback alternatives to see which offers better value for your spending habits.
