Double Avios for Loganair Flights

A few months ago, Loganair decided to embrace Avios as their loyalty currency of choice. Well, Loganair is now offering loyalty members the chance to double their Avios earnings with a brief but generous promotion running from 14th-19th August 2025. Loganair will award twice the usual Avios on all eligible flights for bookings made during this five-day window, with travel valid from 14th August onwards. Members must be logged into their Loganair Loyalty account when booking to qualify for the enhanced earning rate.

The promotion applies exclusively to Loganair-operated flights booked through the airline's website or mobile app, with several exclusions in place. Group bookings, interline and codeshare flights, plus the Orkney Inter-Isle services won't earn the bonus Avios.

Virgin Atlantic Increase Capacity to Dubai

Virgin Atlantic is deploying A350 aircraft on its Dubai route this winter, increasing seat capacity by 50% year-on-year. The move comes after demand surged 72% compared to 2024, making it the airline's strongest winter schedule to the destination, clearly responding to a renewed appetite for travel to the UAE.

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over, with Virgin employees and their families excluded from entry. Virgin Red membership is required to claim the prize, though it's free to join.
