Fancy 5,000 Virgin Points? No, Well How About One Million?

To celebrate Tesco Clubcard’s 30th birthday, Virgin Red is throwing a points-powered party! New customers who sign up to auto-exchange their Tesco Clubcard points into Virgin Points by 20 July 2025 will get a bonus 5,000 Virgin Points - no extra steps needed. This has now become a regular conversion bonus, one of which that we have taken advantage of in the past.
But a deal that's not regular at all, is everyone who auto-exchanges (new or existing customers) will be entered into a special giveaway where one lucky Clubcard member will win a whopping 1 million Virgin Points, with five runners-up each bagging 100,000 points.
How to Auto - Convert Tesco Clubcard Points into Virgin Points
Go to the Clubcard website
Click “Clubcard Account” > “Clubcard management” > “Voucher schemes”
Log in, then select the “Virgin Points” option
It’s that easy: so remember to link your accounts, auto-exchange, and you’re in the running. Time to turn your grocery shop into Upper Class flights or luxury getaways!
Earn a Bonus 6 Virgin Points per £1 with Virgin Trains Ticketing – Until 30 June
Move over Trainline, instead have you heard of the Virgin Trains Ticketing app? It's one of our favourite ways to earn some sneaky Virgin Points on normal day to day spending. We've previously written about this great app, earning 3 Virgin Points per £1 spent

Well, book any UK train journey through the Virgin Trains Ticketing app by 30 June 2025 and earn a boosted 6 Virgin Points per £1 – even on advance bookings.
No booking fees, split ticket savings, and a cheapest-fare finder mean you get the best value. Plus, you’ll still earn points on the cash part of your ticket, even when paying partly with Virgin Points. If I was you though, I'd be saving these points for something better value. Virgin Points never expire, so I would be saving these for your flight for your dream holiday.
British Airways Club Suite Evolution
Back in 2019, British Airways launched the update to their long-haul business class product, named the Club Suite. This was a vast improvement compared to the old ying-yang Club World product, offering every passenger an enclosed suite, and direct aisle access.

Six years later and British Airways have still not refitted every aircraft with this new suite, most notably the Boeing 787-8's, Gatwick based Boeing 777's, and the Airbus A380's. There's no time like the present, and the A380's are finally getting the refurb they so desperately need. When these A380's start their refurbishment later this year, they will receive an updated Club Suite product. Courtesy of a post on Flyertalk, British Airways recently held an engineering open day where they opened up about some of the new features coming to the A380.
The doors will be slightly higher to offer improved privacy
The red latch, which passengers consistently grab, will be hidden
The storage "cupboard" in the Suite, will lose its door (they're always scratched). It will be replaced by straps instead.
Improved materials on the seat itself.
Small improvements, but improvements nonetheless. It's good to see the A380's finally getting the care and attention that they deserve.
