With just one week left on these huge sign up offers on three American Express cards, we thought we'd do a quick run down on what you could bag yourself. We've covered each three of these cards individually, so this will just serve as a brief round up. All of these offers run until 15 July.

The usual caveat...

From 5k to 15k: The Free British Airways American Express

British Airways American Express card
British Airways American Express

The free British Airways American Express credit card is currently offering a significantly boosted welcome bonus of 15,000 Avios (triple the usual 5,000) when you spend £2,000 in the first three months. This is the most generous offer in years for the no-annual-fee version of the card. The 15,000 Avios are enough for a return off-peak flight to much of Europe or can contribute toward longer-haul redemptions. The card also offers 1 Avios per £1 spent and a companion voucher (for economy only) after spending £15,000 in a card year.

Key points: You must apply through the British Airways website or be referred, instead of directly through the Amex website, to get the higher bonus. You also can't have held any personal American Express card in the past 24 months to get the bonus. The card has a 30% APR so should be paid off monthly. Basic eligibility includes being 18+, having a UK address and bank account, £15,000+ income, and good credit.

From 30k to 50k - Fly Higher with the British Airways Premium Plus American Express

The British Airways Premium Plus credit card is currently offering a boosted welcome bonus of 50,000 Avios (up 67% from the usual 30,000) when you spend £6,000 in the first three months, available until July 15th. This is enough for a return economy flight to New York or a trip in Club Europe. The card earns 1.5 Avios per £1 on all spending (3 Avios per £1 on BA bookings) and includes a companion voucher after spending £15,000 annually that works in any cabin class (unlike the free card's economy-only voucher). This card also provides comprehensive travel insurance including up to £250,000 accident cover.

Key points: This card has a fee of £250 per year. You must apply through the British Airways website specifically to get the 50,000 Avios bonus - applying directly through Amex or via referrals only gives the standard 30,000 Avios offer. No BA personal American Express should have been held in the past 24 months to get this bonus. Standard eligibility requirements apply, 18+, UK resident, good credit, , and the 137.8% variable APR means you should pay off the balance monthly.

Tripled Welcome Bonus, aka 27,000 Avios or Virgin Points: The Marriott Bonvoy American Express

The Marriott Bonvoy American Express card is currently offering a tripled welcome bonus of 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points (up from the usual 20,000) when you spend £3,000 in the first three months, available until July 15th. The key attraction is that these points can be converted to airline miles including Avios or Virgin Points through Marriott's transfer program.

Key benefits and conversion value: The card earns 6 Marriott points per £1 at Marriott hotels and 2 points per £1 elsewhere, with immediate Silver Elite status and 15 Elite Night Credits annually. The real value comes from transferring points to airlines at a 3:1 ratio, plus Marriott adds 5,000 bonus miles for every 60,000 points transferred. The card includes additional perks like a free night award after spending £25,000 annually and travel insurance coverage.

Important details: The annual fee is £95, and you can't have held any personal American Express cards in the past 24 months to get the bonus. Standard eligibility requires 18+, UK address, good credit, and APR is 53.7% variable (30% on purchases), so make sure to pay it off every month.
