Here is a quick summary of the best hotel points offers around right now. Some of you may already have stays booked at one of these brands, and if you don't register for the offer, you're leaving free points on the table.
Hilton: 100% Bonus on Purchased Points
Hilton Honors has launched a buy points promotion with a 100% bonus when you purchase 5,000 points or more. That effectively halves the cost per point to around 0.41p each.
The offer runs from 8th April through to 29th May 2026, with a maximum of 240,000 points purchasable per calendar year.
This isn't one for everyone, as buying hotel points only makes sense if you've got a specific redemption in mind. Definitely if you're a few thousand short of a free stay, it's worth a look.
Hilton: 2,000 Bonus Points Per Stay (Still Running)
As we covered in our last Check-In, Hilton's 2,000 bonus points per stay promotion is still live through to 30th April. You need to register before your stay. There's no minimum night requirement, and every qualifying stay earns the bonus regardless of length. If you've got a Hilton stay coming up this month, make sure you're signed up.
IHG: 3x Bonus Points — Register by Tomorrow

This one is urgent. IHG One Rewards is offering 3x bonus points on stays at hotels across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia. But you must register by 11th April, so... tomorrow! Stays need to be completed by 22nd May.
The 3x means your total points (base plus bonus) will be three times what you'd normally earn. So lets say your £100 room earns you 10 points per pound, you'd get 3,000 points instead of 1,000. Stays booked through third party sites like Booking.com or Expedia don't qualify, you'll need to book direct through IHG.
If you've got any IHG stays coming up in the next six weeks, register now before the window closes.

Marriott: 2,500 Bonus Points Per Stay
Marriott Bonvoy's 40% buy points bonus from last time has expired, but there's a solid earning promotion running in its place. Members earn 2,500 bonus points on every cash stay completed between 25th February and 10th May 2026, plus one bonus elite night credit for each different Marriott brand you stay at during the promotion. You need to register by 26th April, and existing bookings count as long as you register before checking out.
Hotels.com Rewards is Back
One for anyone who books independent or non-chain hotels. Hotels.com ditched its popular loyalty programme a few years ago in favour of One Key, a combined scheme across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo that slashed the return from roughly 10% to just 2%. It went down about as well as you'd expect, and they've now reversed course. UK accounts are being moved over to the new scheme by 8th May.
The new scheme works like this: stay 10 qualifying nights (each averaging at least £75) and you get £100 in Hotels.comCash. You can split that across multiple bookings, and it works on flights through Expedia too. There are tiers as well, with Silver getting you 15% or more off select stays, and Gold or Platinum unlocking 20% off, upgrades, and perks like breakfast at VIP Access properties.
The catch is that the £100 is fixed regardless of what you spend. So if you're regularly booking rooms at £75 a night, you're getting a decent return. If you're spending £200 a night, that same £100 back across 10 nights starts to look thin. It rewards frequent budget-to-mid-range bookers more than big spenders. But compared to the 2% they've been offering for the past three years, nobody's going to complain.
UK accounts are being moved over to the new scheme by 8th May.
