How to earn rewards: So this one isn't on the Virgin Shops Away website, but instead on the Virgin Atlantic Retail Therapy Website. You will need to log in to your Virgin Flying Club account, and for adult sizes you will earn 295 per jumper.

Price: Retailing at £59 for adults and £47 for children. Flying Club members can pay using Virgin Points with an adults jumper costing 11,800 points. This is not a good use of points though, as you can get to many destinations in economy for 12,000 points! Save them for flights!

Gift Guide for Her - Final Festive Thoughts

Remember:

• Always start your shop from the portal, whether that is Avios or Virgin Shops Away. If you don't do this you won't get those points and this is so important!

• Avoid discount codes. These could void the points.

• Take screenshots in case tracking fails. Help build the case in the unlikely event your points don't appear.

• If you are able to use points to pay, have a really good long think about whether it makes sense or not to do this. Take the Fly Virgin Atlantic jumper. It costs 11,800 points but you can get a return flight to a lot of Virgin Atlantic's destinations for 12,000, making buying the jumper for that amount an absolute no no!
