Ah, maybe the travel highlight of the year, and that's saying something!

Traveling in British Airways First Class should be the epitome of luxury. From exclusive check-in, to impeccable service, every moment is designed to make you feel like royalty. In this detailed British Airways First Class review, we took you through the whole experience, from arriving at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 to the time we touched down in Singapore.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveller, or someone dreaming of your first premium flight, this review will give you the inside scoop on what makes BA First Class so exceptional. All of that, can be found here!

No 3. The Concorde Room at Heathrow Terminal 5 – The Ultimate First Class Lounge Experience Review

The Concorde Room at Heathrow Terminal 5 is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've accidentally wandered into someone's very posh living room - except that living room happens to overlook the airfield and serves £200-a-bottle Champagne like it's tap water. This is British Airways' most exclusive lounge, strictly for First Class passengers, and it's nothing like the oversubscribed, rammed Galleries Business lounges downstairs.

Cozy lounge with sofas, round tables, and plants, overlooking an airport runway through large glass windows. Soft lighting sets a calm mood.
The Terrace, the perfect setting for dinner

From the moment you walk in, you're hit with the scent of fresh flowers, arranged just so, before you even clock the sofas, wingback chairs, and Concorde memorabilia scattered about. It strikes that tricky balance of feeling private without being pretentious, exclusive without being cold. Some bits are admittedly a bit tired (ahem, stained sofas), and the spa that used to exist is long gone, but that's somehow part of its charm - this isn't Emirates' gold-and-tortoiseshell approach to luxury, it's a very British take on what First Class should feel like.

Who thought Helena's Norse Premium review would take the crown? There is a reason for this!

"As a self-confessed AvGeek, there’s nothing I love more than trying out new airlines. From crew interactions to inflight products, I genuinely enjoy the full experience. And this year has already been a whirlwind - I’ve flown with five new carriers: Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand, Scoot, Bangkok Airways, and Emirates. So, when the opportunity came to fly Norse Atlantic Airways Premium from New York JFK to London Gatwick, I couldn’t resist adding a sixth new airline to my 2025 list.

I previously flew Norwegian long-haul back in 2018 from Chicago and New York, during their short-lived attempt at transatlantic service. While the Chicago leg was great (hello, proper long-haul aircraft), the return from NYC was a bizarre wet lease experience I’ve mostly erased from memory.

Fast forward to Thursday, 22nd May, this was my chance to try Norse Atlantic Airways Premium, and you know what, I was thoroughly impressed."
