Virgin Atlantic has sent out emails to customers with revised flight schedules for its highly anticipated London Heathrow to Seoul Incheon service, set to launch 29th March, 2026.
We had previously covered that Virgin Atlantic had paused ticket sales for the route while putting "final touches in place," citing pending regulatory approvals in South Korea.

The new flight times represent a significant shift from the originally planned schedule:
Original Schedule:
Depart Heathrow 9:45am - Arrive Seoul 6:05am+1
Depart Seoul 8:35am - Arrive Heathrow 3:05pm
New Schedule:
Depart Heathrow 2:10pm - Arrive Seoul 10:30am+1
Depart Seoul 12:20pm - Arrive Heathrow 6:50pm

The afternoon departure from London marks a notable change from the original morning slot, which may impact business travellers and connections. But, the timing change may actually work better for leisure travellers, offering a more convenient afternoon departure from London while maintaining reasonable arrival times in both directions.
The Seoul route is part of a partnership deal with Korean Air and will operate daily using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Tickets are not yet back on sale, but we expect them to be on sale shortly as the updated flight times suggest that Virgin Atlantic remains committed to launching the new service as planned next year.
