Virgin Atlantic – The Bargain Bin (April – June 2026)

Guess what is back? It's Bargain Bin time!!

I've been digging through Virgin Atlantic’s wonderfully chaotic dynamic pricing to find the redemptions that are good value… and a few that absolutely aren't! Those are at the bottom of the article if you feel the need to projectile spit your tea/wine/water over your phone/tablet/laptop/however you read our wonderful updates.

As always I have used vseats.io for this article. This is not an ad, it's just my preferred way to find the best bargains all in one place. I recommend utilising their "Return Flight Finder" page, as it's the easiest way to find those return bargains.

Also, a quick reminder before we begin, whilst some of these destinations may not be for you, don't forget you can always use these as "springboarding" flights. What I mean by that is, let's say you really want to go to the Dominican Republic but you cannot find a good redemption anywhere. You could, for example, fly to Miami and then buy a flight from there with American Airlines for example, down to the island. Sam wrote a really good article on it here, and sometimes it is worth shifting our usual way of working to utilise a bargain!

Anyway, this time around it's an interesting one.

There is a heavy US skew (no surprises there), but also some eye-catching pricing elsewhere.

Prices correct at time of publishing.

April 2026 Highlights

Economy

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 17/18/19/20/21/22–30 Apr | 18,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Miami (MIA) | 23–30 Apr | 22,500 points return

  • London (LHR) → Tampa (TPA) | 17–27 Apr | 30,000 points return

Classic Virgin pricing behaviour here, strong availability into the US, and actually at levels we’d consider very reasonable.

Premium

  • London (LHR) → New York (JFK) | 17–25 Apr | 42,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 17/18/19–23/25/26/27/28 Apr | 18,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Toronto (YYZ) | 20–30 Apr | 38,500 points return

  • Manchester (MAN) → New York (JFK) | 17–26 Apr | 63,000 points return

Premium to New York for 42,000 points return remains one of the most consistently “correctly priced” redemptions in the Virgin ecosystem, and long may that continue.

Upper Class

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 18–25 Apr | 114,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Atlanta (ATL) | 18–25 Apr | 114,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Washington D.C (IAD) | 18–27 Apr | 207,000 points return

A bit more variation here, and bear in mind that these are the cheap deals. A good reminder that even within the same cabin, pricing logic can swing wildly.

May 2026 Highlights

Economy

  • Manchester (MAN) → New York (JFK) | 4–11 May | 12,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Washington D.C. (IAD) | 1–7 May | 12,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 4-11 May | 12,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Lagos (LOS) | 3–9 May | 15,000 points return

This is exactly what we want to see, consistent 6,000-point transatlantic pricing creeping in again.

Virgin Atlantic – The Bargain Bin (April – June 2026)

Premium

  • Manchester (MAN) → New York (JFK) | 18–24 May | 28,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 18–25 May | 21,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Lagos (LOS) | 4–13 May | 28,500 points return

That Manchester to New York, and London to Boston pricing is particularly strong, comfortably under what some economy redemptions have been pricing at recently.

Upper Class

  • London (LHR) → Washington D.C. (IAD) | 1–5 May | 134,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 19–26 May | 85,000 points return

  • Manchester (MAN) → New York (JFK) | 1–9 May | 129,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Lagos (LOS) | 14–18 May | 152,000 points return

Upper Class in May is … mixed. Other than that London to Boston it's very much “book if you need it” territory rather than “drop everything and go”.

June 2026 Highlights

Economy

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 1–6 Jun | 12,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → New York (JFK) | 1–7 Jun | 12,000 points return

  • Manchester (MAN) → Orlando (MCO) | 8–14 Jun | 21,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Seoul (ICN) | 1–8 Jun | 29,500 points return

  • London (LHR) → Johannesburg (JNB) | 1–8 Jun | 49,500 points return

Orlando for 21,000 points return from Manchester is exactly the kind of redemption that keeps people hooked on this game, but my personal favourite here is that redemption to Seoul! Sign me up now!

Virgin Atlantic – The Bargain Bin (April – June 2026)

Premium

  • London (LHR) → Washington D.C. (IAD) | 1–8 Jun | 21,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 9–15 Jun | 27,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Delhi (DEL) | 9–16 Jun | 38,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Mumbai (BOM) | 23–29 Jun | 56,500 points return

India routes continue to quietly offer strong Premium value, not headline-grabbing, but consistently solid.

Upper Class

  • London (LHR) → Boston (BOS) | 2–8 Jun | 101,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Orlando (MCO) | 10–17 Jun | 134,000 points return

  • Manchester (MAN) → New York (JFK) | 3–9 Jun | 117,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Lagos (LOS) | 14–21 Jun | 135,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Bengaluru (BLR) | 3–8 Jun | 107,000 points return

June is bringing a nice bit of consistency to the other months, with some solid deals across the board.

And now… for a laugh

Because dynamic pricing giveth… and occasionally completely loseth its mind.

Absolutely not a bargain

  • London (LHR) → Miami (MIA) | Jun 2026 | 700,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Tampa (TPA) | May/Jun 2026 | 700,000 points return

  • London (LHR) → Maldives (MLE) | Apr 2026 | 700,000 points return

Seven. Hundred. Thousand. Points.

This is peak dynamic pricing behaviour, Virgin knows it can sell these seats for cash, so it simply prices points redemptions into oblivion.

And just to be clear: no matter how much you love Upper Class… it is not worth that.

Virgin Atlantic – The Bargain Bin (April – June 2026)

Final thoughts

This latest run of availability perfectly sums up Virgin Atlantic’s pricing model:

Brilliant… if you know where to look. Infuriating… if you don’t.

A quick reminder, as always:

  • Taxes and fees still apply

  • Prices can (and will) change

  • The best deals rarely hang around

Happy deal hunting, and happy flying.
