Virgin Red is celebrating its fifth birthday, and to mark it, they're giving away one million Virgin Points to one lucky member. Ten runners-up will each win 100,000 Virgin Points. It costs nothing to enter, takes about 30 seconds, and the deadline is next Monday.

How to enter

Head over to the competition page on Virgin Red, answer one quiz question correctly, and you're in. That's it. One entry per person, and the draw closes at 23:59 on Monday 16 March 2026. Winners will be contacted by email by 25 March.

You do need to be a Virgin Red member to enter, but it's free to join and takes a couple of minutes. You also need to be a UK resident and 18+.

Oh, and the quiz question? Let's just say you won't need to phone a friend.

What could you do with a million Virgin Points?

If you follow our Bargain Bin series, you'll know that Virgin Atlantic's dynamic pricing throws up some ridiculous deals. We've seen return flights to Jamaica for 16,000 points, and returns to New York from just 12,000 in economy. A million points at those prices would keep you flying for years (obviously you'll have to pay taxes/fees, but you know what I mean!).

Beyond flights, you could book a Virgin Voyages cruise (or several), stay at a Virgin Limited Edition property like Kasbah Tamadot, or if you're feeling less adventurous, work your way through a frankly unreasonable amount of Virgin Wines (feel free to invite us!).

Pretty much the only thing you won't be able to do is stay on Necker Island, Richard Branson's private island, as this is 2,000,000 Virgin Points for a seven night stay.

Don't turn your nose up on the runner-up prizes either. 100,000 points could get you multiple transatlantic returns in economy, or a serious dent in an Upper Class booking. If you want to know which airlines you can book with Virgin Points, we've put together a full list.

Should you enter?

If you're already collecting Virgin Points through Flying Club, the Virgin Atlantic credit card, or any of the Virgin Red earning partners, then this is a no-brainer.

It'll take you less time than to make your morning cup of tea. Just go and do it.
