Heathrow Rewards are yet another loyalty programme where you can collect points almost every time you spend at the airport – from shopping and dining to parking and currency exchange – and turn them into discounts, vouchers and even airline miles. Yeah, I bet that last one caught your interest!

Heathrow Rewards is the official loyalty programme of Heathrow Airport. Once you register, you’ll receive a Heathrow Rewards card which you can use whenever you spend with participating partners. By doing so, you’ll collect points which can be redeemed for savings, vouchers or as mentioned above, airline miles.

How to Collect Heathrow Rewards Points

The programme is designed to be easy and flexible. You can earn:

• 1 point for every £1 spent in participating shops, cafés, bars and restaurants throughout Heathrow Airport.

• 1 point for every £10 exchanged at bureaux de change.

Simply present your Heathrow Rewards card at the point of purchase or link it via the Heathrow App to make sure your points are added.

Redeem Points Instantly for Shopping and Dining

Your points are as good as cash at Heathrow. For every 500 Heathrow Rewards points, you’ll receive £5 in vouchers to spend at participating shops, restaurants and cafés.

Vouchers can be created instantly, so you can treat yourself on the same day you earn them.

Earn and Save on Heathrow Parking

Whether you’re heading off on a business trip or starting a family holiday, Heathrow Rewards also applies to pre-booked Official Heathrow Parking. Collect points when you book, and then use those points to reduce the cost of your next booking – 500 points equals £10 off pre-booked parking.

Convert Points Into Airline Miles

If you’re a frequent flyer, Heathrow Rewards gives you the ability to turn your points into travel benefits. You can convert every 250 Heathrow Rewards points into 250 miles with partner airline programmes. It’s a simple way to top up your account and bring your next reward flight closer.

This is my humble opinion, this is the most sensible way to use these points. If 500 Points equate to a £5 voucher, then converting them over to Avios, or the airline rewards points of your choice, seems like a bit of a no brainer!
