Iberia Avios sale: up to 30% off reward flights, but only until 15 June

Iberia is running another Avios sale on reward flights, with savings of 10%, 20% or 30% depending on the route and cabin. The discount comes off the Avios price only. Taxes and fees stay the same.

You need to book by 15 June 2026, and your travel has to be completed by 15 September 2026.

Bookings must go through the Iberia website. Try to book the same flight through BA and you'll see the standard price.

A few things before you get excited

We covered the last one of these in May, and the 40% sale back in January. This one is more focused than both.

First, the window. A week is not long to book, particularly if you still need to find dates with reward seats on them.

Second, no UK routes. Last time London and Manchester sat on the 30% list, which meant that if you were connecting in Madrid, all of your flights could potentially be discounted.

Third, the dates. Travel runs 9 June to 15 September, which is mostly Spanish school summer. Iberia's peak/off-peak calendar follows the Spanish school year, so most of the window prices as peak and the discount comes off the peak price. The off-peak dates sit at the very start and end of the window, and that's where the discount stacks best, the way May's sale did across half term. We covered the stacking in saving up to 50% Avios during school holidays.

The full list

All routes are to or from Madrid. The cabin in brackets is the one the discount applies to; where two are listed, both count. Vueling and LEVEL flights are excluded.

An example: Madrid to Buenos Aires

Using our Avios Calculator, a one-way off-peak flight from Madrid to Buenos Aires is 24,000 Avios. Take 30% off and it's 16,800. That's 7,200 Avios saved each way, or 14,400 for a return.

Remember that every route in this sale starts from Madrid, so you need to get there first. A cheap easyJet flight to Madrid does that job without you need to touch your Avios.

Iberia vs BA

This is where Iberia earns its reputation.

London to Toronto in Club World on BA is 88,000 Avios one way off-peak. The same trip on Iberia in business, routed through Madrid, is 57,000. Iberia is 31,000 Avios cheaper even before the discount to the Madrid - Toronto leg.

After factoring in the discount, it'll cost you 48,900 Avios for London to Toronto on Iberia, which is 39,100 Avios cheaper than BA!

Avios in the wrong account?

The discount only applies to bookings made through Iberia, so the Avios need to be in your Iberia Club account.

If they're sitting in BA, Aer Lingus etc, link your accounts on the Avios website and move them across instantly, and for free.

Can I use my Companion Voucher?

No. The BA Amex Companion Voucher only works on bookings made through the BA website, and this promotion only runs through Iberia. Book through BA to use the voucher and you'll pay full price on the Avios. Our Companion Voucher guide covers where it does and doesn't work.

How to find availability

Iberia's own search works, but it shows one date at a time, and the site is slow.

Reward Flight Finder shows Iberia availability across a whole month in a calendar view, and it has an interactive world map if you'd rather start from "where can I actually go". You can see which dates have reward seats without clicking through each one. There's a free tier, with paid tiers for alerts, longer-range searches and premium cabins.

Find your dates there, then book through the Iberia website to get the discount.
