Iberia is offering up to 30% off Avios redemptions until 10 May

Iberia is running an Avios discount on reward flights, with savings of 10%, 20% or 30% depending on the route. You need to book by 10 May 2026 and travel has to be completed by 15 September 2026.

The discount applies to the Avios cost only. Taxes and fees stay the same.

Bookings must be made on the Iberia website. If you try and book through BA, you will see the standard price.

All routes are to or from Madrid, meaning you will have to connect if travelling onwards.

The travel window covers May half-term and the summer holidays. Iberia's own peak/off-peak calendar follows the Spanish school year, which leaves UK half terms as off-peak. So for travel during May half term, the off-peak Avios price stacks with this up to 30% discount. We covered this fully in our article on how to save up to 50% Avios during school holidays.

Where a cabin is in brackets, the discount only applies to that cabin. No brackets means both Business and Economy.

A few destinations appear in more than one column as the ultimate discount can depend on date or cabin travelled.

An example: Manchester to Buenos Aires

Take a return economy trip at off-peak.

Without the promo, you'd pay 6,500 Avios for Manchester to Madrid, plus 24,000 Avios for Madrid to Buenos Aires, each way. That's 61,000 Avios per person return.

With the promo, Manchester drops 30% to 4,550 Avios. Buenos Aires drops 20% to 19,200 Avios. That's 47,500 Avios per person return.

A saving of 13,500 Avios per person. Or 27,000 for a couple.

Avios in the wrong account?

The discount only applies to bookings made through Iberia, so you need the Avios in your Iberia Plus account.

If they're sitting in British Airways Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, etc, you can link your accounts through on the Avios website and transfer Avios instantly and free of charge.

Can I use my Companion Voucher?

No. The Companion Voucher only works on bookings made through BA website. This promotion only available via the Iberia website. If you were to book via the BA website you would pay full price.

How to find availability

Iberia's own search works, but it only shows one dates at a time.

Reward Flight Finder shows availability across a whole month in a calendar view. You can see which dates have reward seats without clicking through each one. There is a free to use tier, with a paid tiers for alerts, longer-range searches, and premium cabins.

Once you've found your dates there, book through the Iberia website to get the promo discount.

Verdict

Are you really going to turn down 30% off? Iberia's pricing is already cheap by Avios standards, so the discount stacks on top of an already low rate.

The last sale of this kind was in January's with up to 40% off, but it lasted only a few days. You've got a couple of weeks to think about this, and it you're quick you could get a trip sorted for May half term, stacking Iberia's off-peak pricing with up to 30% off on top.
