If you missed it last week, Qatar Airways is currently throwing the kitchen sink at you, with up to 24,000 bonus Avios on flights to Australia, buy Avios sales, and now Qatar Airways are offering you up to 10% off your fare and double Avios on top. I wonder why...

Qatar Airways 787 flies above sunlit clouds, with maroon logo and Qatar text on the fuselage.

Who it's for

Two groups of people qualify for this deal, and neither can have an active Qatar booking. They are:

  • Privilege Club members with no collecting or spending activity in the last 24 months

  • Privilege Club members who joined between 1 August 2024 and 31 March 2026

If you have credited a flight to Qatar, moved Avios in or out, or spent any in the last two years, you're out (which includes me!).

And just a quick reminder for those who are a bit unsure what I'm on about. Privilege Club is Qatar's loyalty scheme, and it collects Avios, the same currency British Airways uses. The two balances sit in separate accounts but you can move Avios between them for free once the accounts are linked, so nothing you earn here is stranded. In fact, I'd encourage you to earn Avios in as many account as possible, and then move them around!

One more thing, utilising this offer could be a really strong opportunity if you're planning to spend Avios on Qatar Airways in the future, and have the gall to want to spend Avios on another person. If you're unsure what I'm referring to, then you'll want to read this.

What you get

Up to 10% off:

It's 5% to 10%, and it comes off the base fare only, not the taxes and surcharges. On a £600 Economy return from the UK, over £100 of that is Air Passenger Duty before Qatar's own charges, so a 10% discount saves you nearer to £40, but worth having if you're travelling as a family.

Double Avios

You'll get double Avios on top of the base Avios for the flight, irrespective of any other offer.

Four Avios offer cards: 10% off, collect 2x Avios, member rewards, and bonus Avios; deadline text below.

Key dates

Booking window: 20 to 30 July 2026

Travel window: 20 July to 15 December 2026

Some important terms

  • Put the code, JULYPC, in before you search.

  • The promo code is applicable on specific fares in Economy, Business or First Class.

  • Qatar flights only. Codeshares and partner connections are excluded.

Flight search page with London to Manila return trip, Nov 2026 dates, over a banner of London, pyramids, and a Thai temple.
PUT THE CODE IN HERE!

Verdict

Log in, and make sure that you search with JULYPC in the promo box. If you're not eligible the code simply won't apply, which saves you auditing two years of account activity to find out. Definitely worthwhile if you need to make a bigger booking, either now, or intend to make an Avios booking in the future (see here).
