Virgin Atlantic starts flying daily to the Maldives from 8th November, and two months ahead of time seems to be when Virgin Atlantic reassess their pricing for the better. You can see numerous dates in November where you can fly in Upper Class to the Maldives for only 35,000 Virgin Points one way, and £417 in taxes and fees, an absolute steal! The flight from Heathrow to the Maldives is a night flight, leaving at 7:50pm, so being able to turn your seat into a bed and having a proper sleep is a perfect start to your holiday. And its not too dire on the return either. Yes Upper Class is harder to find at bargain prices, but as the flight back to Heathrow is a day flight, I'd argue it wasn't necessary. For me, a Premium seat for 82,000 Virgin Points isn't a bad deal either. We flew to the Maldives in 2024 using Virgin Points in Premium, and it was a very comfortable way to travel.
