Get 250 Avios for a £15 shop, if your card isn't already linked for in-store purchases

If you're a British Airways Club member (you're here, so let's assume that), here's a quick win worth adding to your Avios-earning routine this month.

Register a new debit or credit card on the Avios website for in-store purchase, spend £15 or more in one transaction at a participating in-store partner, and you'll bank 250 bonus Avios on top of whatever you'd normally earn.

Registering your card had been paused between March 11th and April 15th, but in this period all Mastercards were deleted from the system (no, we don't know why), so this offer may be more relevant to you than you initially thought.

How to register your card and claim the Avios bonus

1. Go to Avios.com and log into your British Airways Club account

2. Find account settings on the dashboard, click through, and you'll see "Manage cards", this is where you'll add your card.

3. Wait 24 hours for the registration to activate before spending.

4. Spend £15+ in one go at a participating Avios partner, using the exact physical card you registered.

5. Sit tight. Avios can take up to 45 days to land in your account.

Only pay with the physical card you registered. Paying by phone or watch can present a different card number thanks to being in a digital wallet, and this may not track. I'd hate for you to miss the Avios!

Highlights have to include Pizza Express due to this current offer, where any spend on top earns you Avios too.

Take a look at Vodafone too at a flat rate of 1,700 Avios. The Vodafone terms state that there has to be a minimum spend of £30, but 1,700 Avios is £17 of value. I'm not saying you should go and buy phone cases at £30 at a time, pocket the Avios, and then sell the phone cases online. I'm just saying that you could.

Also, several partners have bumped up their standard Avios earn rates this month, look out for "Was X" in the table below, since these boosted rates apply on top of the 250 bonus Avios for registering and spending during the promotional window.
