What does that mean in real terms? A £25 meal could earn you up to 175 Virgin Points, just for eating something you were probably going to order anyway.

And no, you don’t need to be a new customer (though if you are, you’ll earn the maximum rate). Existing customers still earn, just at a slightly lower rate. It’s one of those "why wouldn't you?" moments we love.

How to Earn Virgin Points with Deliveroo

Here’s where most people get it wrong: you have to go via the Virgin Red website. If you open the Deliveroo app or go straight to their site, your purchase won’t track and you won’t earn anything.

Here’s how to make it work every time:

Start your order at Virgin Red. Log in and click through to Deliveroo using their link. This ensures your purchase gets tracked.
Complete your order in the same browser session. Don’t click away or close your tab. You must stay on the page after you click through from Virgin Red.
Don’t use the Deliveroo app. Orders placed via the app don’t qualify for Virgin Points, so it’s best to stick with your web browser.
Points usually appear as “pending” within five working days, and are confirmed within 45 days. Sit tight, they’re coming.

Missing points? Deliveroo accepts missing transaction claims only for purchases made after 1 January 2025.
