Another Sunday roundup, and this week has been a HUGE one.
The headline is a big: British Airways and Amex have announced a one-off return flight to New York where every seat is paid for in Avios alone, no taxes, no surcharges, nothing. Economy starts at 25,000 Avios return, which is more than 50% off the usual price. Read it.
There are also two time-sensitive offers to catch before they close. Iberia has up to 30% off Avios reward flights until 15 June, and Qatar Airways is running up to 20% off plus up to 10,000 bonus Avios until 17 June.
Elsewhere, Amex Membership Rewards is losing Etihad and gained ALL Accor, Philippine Airlines is officially joining oneworld, so we've run through how you can use you Avios, and there are 1,000 free Avios up for grabs for a Hilton stay before the end of August.

There have been two changes to where your Amex Membership Rewards points can go this month. Etihad Guest leaves on 22 June. ALL Accor arrived on 13 May.

One out, one in.
Philippine Airlines has officially been confirmed as the oneworld Alliance's 16th full member, bringing Southeast Asia's flag carrier into the fold alongside British Airways, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific and the rest. The announcement was made on Saturday evening at the International Air Transport Association's (IATA if you are an AvGeek) annual general meeting in Rio de Janeiro, where a formal agreement was signed.

For anyone holding a British Airways Club account, collecting Avios, or who is simply dreaming of getting to the Philippines (Sam is still feeling sore about this...) this is news worth understanding.
Iberia is running another Avios sale on reward flights, with savings of 10%, 20% or 30% depending on the route and cabin. The discount comes off the Avios price only. Taxes and fees stay the same.
You need to book by 15 June 2026, and your travel has to be completed by 15 September 2026.

Bookings must go through the Iberia website. Try to book the same flight through BA and you'll see the standard price. For all the intricacies, head on over to the article here.
Wow.
British Airways and Amex have announced one of the best Avios deals you're ever going to see. They're putting on a one-off return flight to New York where every seat on the aircraft is paid for in Avios alone. No taxes, no surcharges, no cash element at all, and economy starts at 25,000 Avios return, which is more than 50% off the usual Avios cost!

This is all part of how they're marking 25 years of the partnership, after the million-Avios prize draw and the 25% earn bonus.
Qatar Airways has launched two (and a half) offers at once, and they stack. Up to 20% off flights from Europe (and yes, that does include the UK), and up to 10,000 bonus Avios, with both offers running until 17 June.

And they're continuing to offer 2,000 bonus Avios for your first Qatar Airways booking, so that's stacking bonus Avios, on top of bonus Avios, on top of a discount, and you'll still get all the Avios you'd usually earn from flying too. Kept up with that?
Two quick ones for you here!
Hilton and Qatar Airways are giving away 1,000 Avios if you complete a Hilton stay between 1 June and 31 August 2026. Register, stay, wait for the points to turn up.

It pays out once, on your first qualifying stay in that window. Not per night, not per stay.
If I have a BA Companion Voucher from my BA Amex and a Barclays Cabin Upgrade Voucher from my Barclaycard Avios or Barclays Avios Rewards, can I use both on the same booking?
Not on the same booking, no. But you can use both on the same trip if you are willing to make two separate bookings.
