Hello everyone, and welcome back to another Sunday round up.
Iberia has a flight-shaped loophole running for the next week: buy an Iberia gift card at up to 10% off. IHG and Revolut have launched two new UK debit cards earning IHG One Rewards points and status, one free, one £18 a month, but not really built for the average cardholder. Barclaycard has updated its Avios card rules from 31 July, mostly housekeeping, but for once one change actually works in your favour.
Elsewhere, Amex has updated its British Grand Prix perks at Silverstone this weekend with a new trackside lounge, free race radios, and £15 back on merch. British Airways has rolled its "new" Club World amenity kits out to Heathrow, Gatwick's had them since November. And Japan Airlines' baby-on-seat-map icon is back in the conversation after a feature on This Morning, seven years after it was introduced, and Helena's got thoughts on why it's brilliant and why it shouldn't need to exist at all.
That's enough about what happened this week. Before we go, one thing we want to say: we get loads of messages saying you've spotted us out and about, at an airport, or the other day having dinner in Winchester, but didn't want to disturb us. Please, please disturb us. Come over and say hi. Tell us your thoughts on our latest article/instagram reel etc. We love meeting you, so if you see us in the wild, come say hello. Don't worry about who we are with, they all know what we do and think we're nuts anyway, and we love speaking to you all so much.

For the next week, you can get up to 10% off an Iberia gift card, which in turn can be used to purchase an Iberia flight, including an Avios redemption.
I think we've all bought gift cards on sale in the past, usually through an employers discount site such as Reward Gateway, but purchasing one to buy a flight may be new to you.

We've written up all about it here, including how it works and what to do.
IHG and Revolut have teamed up to release two new debit cards in the UK. Both earn IHG One Rewards points and hand you IHG status. One is free, and the other costs £18 a month. But the intended customer for these cards is not your average joe.
Quick bit of background, IHG One Rewards is the loyalty scheme behind Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, InterContinental, Kimpton, Six Senses, etc.

There are a few intricacies to these cards, so I would recommend reading our guide to them here.
The British Grand Prix is at Silverstone this weekend, 3 to 5 July. If you're going and you've got an American Express on you, the good news is that there's a bit more on offer than there was last year.
We covered Amex's British Grand Prix perks last year, and most of what was on offer has carried over, but there are two new things this year at Silverstone, and the merchandise offer been improved.

If you are heading there today, firstly enjoy, secondly read this so you go prepared!
Barclays has updated some rules on its two Avios credit cards which apply from 31 July 2026.
Most of it is just a bit of housekeeping, but one of the changes is good news, for once!

British Airways has announced an update to it's Club World amenity kits, sort of.
You see, if you've flown in Club out of Gatwick since November 2025, then these "new" amenity kits may seem familiar to you, as they were introduced for Gatwick-only late last year. From next month, August 2026, Heathrow flights will also be getting these new amenity kits.

Featuring four designs by British artists, the amenity kits are stocked with Anatome products, which according to our resident skincare expert, Helena, Anatome is a significant upgrade on the cosmetics offered by The White Company, however nice smelling they were. Back in 2019, Japan Airlines brought in a little icon on their seat map's showing where a baby or toddler (between 8 days and 2 years old) has been booked.
And I love it. I also can't quite believe it took this long to invent, but there you go. Thanks to a feature on ITV's This Morning, the conversation around it has come back up again and I'm intrigued by it.
