Keep reading to the bottom for some excellent non-Nectar points opportunities!
"Sainsbury’s Energy has launched a deal that’s catching attention, especially among loyal Nectar card users. Their Track & Reward tariff offers customers the chance to earn up to 9,500 bonus Nectar points a year.
It sounds appealing, but should consider switching energy providers for 9500 Nectar Points? Let’s break down what the offer includes and whether it’s the right fit for your household."

"If you've driven to Heathrow Airport recently, or wandered through any of the terminals, I am sure you will have seen the myriad of signs for "Heathrow Rewards". They are everywhere!
Heathrow Rewards are yet another loyalty programme where you can collect points almost every time you spend at the airport – from shopping and dining to parking and currency exchange – and turn them into discounts, vouchers and even airline miles. Yeah, I bet that last one caught your interest!

Heathrow Rewards is the official loyalty programme of Heathrow Airport. Once you register, you’ll receive a Heathrow Rewards card which you can use whenever you spend with participating partners. By doing so, you’ll collect points which can be redeemed for savings, vouchers or as mentioned above, airline miles."
"Ahead of an early flight to Menorca, I chose to stay at the Radisson RED London Gatwick Airport, attracted by its reputation for blending modern style with a playful twist on the typical airport hotel. Its location is undeniably convenient, just a short 10-minute drive from both Gatwick’s North and South Terminals, with easy access via local buses, taxis or even on foot from the nearby Lowfield Heath bus stop. As an airport base, it immediately ticks that box.
It opened in late 2021, and I have to say the general quality and upkeep of the hotel makes it look even younger than that. Everything felt very shiny and new, I was really quite impressed with this."

"We're going a bit Nectar mad this week... But remember, Nectar = Avios!
Welcome back to Thursday Travel Tips – the weekly series where we uncover clever ways to travel smarter, save money and maximise your rewards.
This week’s hack isn’t at the airport, on a plane, or even travel-branded… but it can absolutely help fund your next trip.

We’re talking about the Nectar “Count Up to Christmas” Challenge – a seasonal promotion hidden in the Nectar app that can earn you bonus points on your usual Sainsbury’s shopping. And if you convert Nectar into Avios, this is effectively free flight fuel.
Let’s break down how it works – and how to make sure you don’t miss out."
"Welcome back to our unofficial series where we show you where you can fly for different amounts of Avios. We have covered 25,000 Avios, and we have done 50,000 Avios. Now thought, we're stepping it up again.
If you’ve built your Avios balance up to around 75,000 points, you’ve reached one of the most versatile sweet spots in the British Airways Club. At this level you can move beyond short-haul city breaks and start looking at transatlantic flights, long-haul sunshine escapes and even upgrades into Premium Economy or Business on some routes.

This is where the combination of the British Airways Reward Flight Finder (to check exact Avios pricing) and SeatSpy (to see a whole year of reward seat availability) becomes essential. Pricing is fixed within peak and off-peak bands, but saver seats go quickly. By using SeatSpy alerts, you can pounce on availability as soon as it appears."
After a several-year hiatus, Virgin Atlantic is going to Cancun. Starting today - 19th October - Virgin will launch three weekly flights from London Heathrow to Mexico's Caribbean coast.
If this sounds familiar, that's because it is. Virgin last flew this route pre-pandemic from Gatwick, and now they're giving it another go with Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday departures on the A350-1000. It's currently the only direct option from Heathrow to Cancun, which will please anyone who'd rather not transit through the US or Madrid, or is allergic to going to Gatwick to fly TUI or British Airways.
But more importantly, we breakdown some of the best points deals available to you, including a one week holiday for only 12,000 Virgin Points in Economy, return!

"Lastly, If you’ve been thinking about applying for the British Airways American Express Credit Card, now could be the ideal time with some new bonus Avios available.
There is no increased bonus on the Amex website, but a limited time referral offer is currently running that significantly increases the number of Avios you can earn to 15,000! This promotion expires on 11th November 2025, so acting soon is essential if you want to take advantage.

What’s the Offer?
For the person applying for the card via referral, the welcome bonus has been boosted to 15,000 Avios instead of 6,000, provided they are approved and spend £2,000 on this card in the first three months.
For the person referring, each approved application will now earn 8,000 Avios instead of the usual 4,000. This is double the normal reward and makes referrals far more valuable than usual."
